I am a Full Stack Software Engineer with an Associate's in Applied Science and a Bachelor’s degree with concentrations in Political Science, Environmental Sociology, and Screen Studies. My most recent experience included working in a micro services-oriented architecture using Amazon Web Services (AWS) for our infrastructure. My passion for learning drove me to contribute to any codebase I had an opportunity to work on. As a result, I have become a more competent developer and learned many new design patterns, languages, and frameworks along the way.

    Coming into this role, I'd used Angular but not React, so I had to ramp up quick on isomorphic React/Redux on Node/Express. Sorry (especially to former Google coworkers like Jen Bourey) but having used them both I definitely prefer React. I know they aren't quite the same, React does less than Angular, but for the simple task of dumping data into templates this stack shines.
